Online Banking
The online banking service is a free service for customers of Rushville State Bank and provides the following benefits:
- View activity on current deposit and loan accounts posted since activating the Online Banking Service.
- Categorize account activity by source or expense type for use in budgeting and reporting. Information is available to be downloaded or printed for tax or recordkeeping purposes.
- Transfer funds between registered accounts of the customer held with Rushville State Bank.
- Establish of "Alerts" to allow for receipt of email or text messages of account information including:
- Account activity items such as current account balance, balance levels, checks cleared, deposits made or transactions processed over a specified dollar amount.
- Bill Payment system alerts for scheduled and recurring transactions, payees added/deleted, or payments scheduled over a certain dollar amount.
- Security alert items such as notification of logins to the online banking system, online transfers, or changes to contact information.
- Messaging alerts to notify of secure or broadcast messages sent to their online banking account.
- Ability to send secure messages to Rushville State Bank and to also place stop payment orders, check re-orders, or change contact information.

Bill Payment Service
The bill payment service is a product available in addition to the online banking system which allows customers to pay bills online from their designated checking account. This service is available upon approval of a request for the service and may be subject to a fee. The bill payment service is accessible through the "MOVE MONEY" tab within Online or Mobile Banking.
- Generally, with online bill payment, users are able to pay any company or person they owe on a one-time or recurring basis.
- Certain companies offer an electronic delivery of bills directly to the system to avoid paper check delivery and additionally payments may be automatically scheduled by the system for payment.
- The bill payment service is free to customers that use the service to pay at least four bills per month. Customers that pay less than four bills per month are assessed a fee of $5.00 for that month.
Mobile Banking
The mobile banking service is an extension of our online banking process, allowing free access to your accounts using a mobile device. Access to your accounts can be gained using a downloadable application to an Android or Apple smartphone or by using a mobile web address on other devices.
The mobile banking service is available for use either with or without registering for online banking through our website.
Mobile Banking Features
Services available are the same to those on our online banking website:
- View activity on current deposit and loan accounts posted since activating the Online Banking Service.
- Transfer funds between registered accounts of the customer held with Rushville State Bank.
- Pay bills through the mobile bill payment service, for registered users of the online bill payment service.
- Deposit checks using the mobile app and your mobile phone camera (subject to application).
Mobile Deposit
The mobile deposit service allows customers using the mobile app to deposit checks into their account using the camera feature of their Android or Apple phone. This service is available upon approval of a request for the service and is offered with no fee.
- Customers may make mobile check deposits to their Rushville State Bank checking, savings or money market accounts.
- There is a daily maximum limit through mobile deposit of $1500 per business day, $1500 per item, and five deposits/checks per day.
- Deposits must be made before 4 pm CST Monday-Friday to be considered for deposit credit on the same day. Deposits made after this time will be reviewed and considered for deposit on the following business day.
- Checks must be made payable to the online banking account user or a joint owner on the account, and must be endorsed by the payee on the back of the check along with the written words “For Mobile Deposit Only at RSB”.
- Deposited funds are not made available for use immediately and will be processed and reviewed by bank personnel prior to credit being added to the account. Customers will be notified of any deposits that have been denied.
How to Apply for Mobile Check Deposit
To apply for the mobile check deposit service, complete the mobile deposit registration form located under the Messages Tab within your mobile banking APP and submit for review. Customers will be notified of the status of their application by email in 1-2 business days.

Text Banking
The text banking service is available to our customers that do not have a "smart phone" or access to internet through a mobile device. Also a quick way to access basic information on your online banking registered accounts.
- Summary report of balances on each registered account
- Recent transaction history on selected accounts
The text banking service is available for use after registering for online banking through our website.
